I kept a diary during my pregnancy and only recently had the time and energy to tidy up my entries, it’s been so nice to go back and read about my pregnancy.
Sometimes I felt so overwhelmed by all the changes to my body and life that now I can see that sometimes I took pregnancy for granted. Some people said that I should have expected all the changes as it was not my first pregnancy but trust me I had forgotten all about it and every pregnancy is different. I’m grateful and happy for the extreme lows and the highs I experienced during my pregnancy and most of all for the beautiful boy we welcomed into the world!

As soon as we decided to have a baby I made sure that I was as healthy as I could be, less alcohol, less sugar, more sleep and continued to exercise let’s not forget the ovulation tests (I hugely recommend them if you track your periods)!
So, it begins!!

One day picked my daughter up from school, I had a hunch that I was pregnant and I just needed to tell her, oh the excitement on her face! On our way home, we picked up some pregnancy tests. Off we go (my daughter and I) to do the test and the two lines appear! We are pregnant! The best memories of my adulthood are with my daughter and this was no exception, of course my husband was there too!
Giving up drinking, soft cheese, cured meats and sushi is the easy part!
Until next time, stay kind, stay beautiful x
